The National Institute of Building Sciences’ Building Innovation Conference is set to convene a diverse group of professionals dedicated to advancing the built environment in McLean, Virginia. From May 19-21, attendees will engage in three days of learning and collaboration, featuring three general sessions, 25 educational sessions, and insights from 65 speakers.
This year’s conference, themed «Thrive: Strategies for Resilient Communities,» will focus on building community-level resilience through policy, practice, and technology. Education sessions are structured around three tracks: Leaders, Practitioners, and Technologists, covering topics from policy frameworks to sustainable design and emerging technologies. Participants can earn AIA LU and ICC credits, as well as certificates of attendance.
Nancy Novak and Amy Marks will present «Innovation: Born or Bred?» on May 21, adding their expertise to the conference’s exploration of cutting-edge solutions. The Building Innovation Conference provides a unique platform for government agencies, AEC professionals, and innovators to drive positive change in the built environment.
